Access to banking is easy in Burundi! Bank cards are used, ATMs exist and work for the main commercial banks (BCB, InterBank, EcoBank, Bancobu, KCB, CRDB, etc.). Transactions are mainly made in cash, but many hotels and restaurants accept VISA, Mastercard, US dollars and euros.

There are also several Bureaux de change where you can exchange foreign currency into Burundian francs and vice versa
